Bus to Venice:
To join Venice since the airport Marco Polo, take the line 5-AeroBus which more or less 20 minutes dessert one of the main Venetian tourist terminals, Piazzale Roma, where from it is possible to join the historic center of the city by using lines of public navigation(browsing) Actv. The line 5-AeroBus part of the bus stop situated a few meters away from the exit(release) "Arrivals" of the airport (door B). Price(prize) 12 € round trip.

Alilaguna lines (waterbus)
The Alilaguna network consists of lines which connect the main zones of the historic center, the Lido, Murano, and the Airport Marco Polo, by using comfortable landing stages. At every stop, it is possible to reach in a few minutes any point of the city. See the internet site of Alilaguna 



Taxi boats
Even they are expensive, it is the fastest and the most comfortable way to join your apartment. From the airport, you can be within half an hour for your destination in the heart of Venice, because in most of the cases, these taxis-boats can deposit you in front of your apartment. The cost may be between 120 and 160 € for a route airport-center Venice, but if you are 8 on board, it will thus cost you between 15 and 20€ by person. And the assurance of an unforgettable arrival to Venice!

The advantage of this parking is that you can take from there the bus ACTV (line 4 and 4/) for Venice. The frequency is approximately all 10/12 minutes and the route lasts about ten minutes to Piazzale Roma.

When you drive to Venice and park your car at Piazzale Roma, it is possible within walking distance to reach Actv landing stages for the main public transport waterbus routes - to all destinations, via Grand Canal or Giudecca Canal - or outer circle waterbus routes.

Landing stages are along Piazzale Roma’s edge at the foot of the Constitution Bridge in the following order:
- S.Chiara ‘E’ landing stop for waterbus route No. 2 direction St. Mark’s via Giudecca Canal, (night service provided by route ‘N’).
- S. Chiara ‘D’ landing stop again for waterbus route No. 2 direction St. Mark’s via Grand Canal and across Rialto (up to the Lido in summer). Night service provided by route ‘N’ at this stop.
- Parisi ‘C’ landing stop for outer circle routes No. 4.1 (direction Giudecca/St.Mark’s), No. 5.1 (direction Lido) and No. 6.
- ‘B’ landing stop for route No. 1 (to the Lido in about an hour).
- Scomenzera ‘A’ landing stop for outer cw circle routes No. 4.2 to Murano, No. 5.2 to F.te Nove/Lido (in the night, some services departs from the nearby landing stages: please read the indications at the stop) and direct route No. 3 to Murano.



What to do when you arrive at Venice Santa Lucia railway station

ACTV waterbus landing stages are just feet away from Venice Santa Lucia railway station.

On your right, St.Lucia ‘E’ landing stop for waterbus route No. 1: it takes almost 1 hour along the Grand Canal and out across St. Mark’s basin to the Lido of Venice.
The outer circle waterbus routes No. 4.1 and 5.1 (counter clockwise direction via Giudecca Canal) and waterbus route No. 3 to Murano leaves from the nearby ‘D’ landing stop.

On your left, Scalzi ‘C’ and ‘B’ landing stops for waterbus route No. 2: from landing stop ‘C’ waterbuses go down the Grand Canal towards Rialto and St. Mark’s and to the Lido in summer (night service provided by route ‘N’).
From landing stop ‘B’, the route No. 2 goes along the Giudecca Canal to St. Mark’s/St. Zaccaria (night service provided by route ‘N’).
Bar Roma ‘A’ landing stop for outer circle waterbus routes No. 4.2, 5.2 and 3: clockwise services riding up and down the city to Murano Island (route No. 4.2) with connections to Burano, Torcello and Sant’Erasmo Islands, or to the Lido (route No. 5.2).
